Winter Woodpecker

Minus 16 today so I had to bring a lot of wood in for the stove and fire! Having warmed up with a cup of coffee I went back out with the telephoto and as luck would have it I heard a familiar tapping and there he was again. I managed to creep up to the foot of the tree, I couldn't have got any closer without a ladder. I managed a lot of shots. I think this is better than my last photo of him.
