... or something like that!
A few weeks ago Frenchie went to the Consulate in London to apply for a UK passport. Not that he really wanted one but travelling to France most weeks means that it would be easier to have both French and English citizenship.
Whilst there he made enquiries about renewing Oddie's French passport which had lapsed many years ago.
According to the clerk Oddie didn't exist on their database and advised that we'd need to send her birth certificate.
Today, we received a letter from the French Consulate calling Oddie up to do her French National Service!
French bureaucracy at its finest!
