"Drop Your Books Here"

This photograph is the result of a combination of a joke on my part and the fun-spontaneity of Shihui's!

Well, there was this sign which clearly says "drop Your Books here", with the arrow pointing to the right. Presumebly, this was an initiative of some other society/club, and there ought to have been a bin of some sorts for people to donate their old unwanted books. On that day though, there was none. So I joked that the sign directed all students who were sick of studying, to fling their books over the railing, down from the 4th floor we were on..! ;)

Shihui then swung into action, putting her bag aside as she grabbed one of her textbooks and proceeded to pose (as shown above), as I dug in my pockets for my camera-phone! We then did a 14-second, 1-shot video which had Shihui walking past the sign, taking a 2nd look as she retraces her steps, stares at the camera, points at the sign, walks ahead and *plonks* her text onto the floor and casually walks away~! Christine and I couldn't help but laugh, and we got some amused and puzzled stares from other students walking by too!

It was an off-the-cuff, spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. When we're in our element of ultimate uninhibited nuttyness, anything is possible! Beware of the 'deadly' combustion which results in the fruits of labour being quirky+lame products~!

Our next initiative, possibly together with Ai Ling, will be that of our promotional posters for the workshop, and perhaps a video too! ;)
