The images I took today deserved a haiku but I'm out of practice and those three lines took ages.  I went for a drive south to the former Golden Downs Forest HQ.  The Forest Service had a policy of planting ornamental trees on roadside reserves.  I thanked those foresters of the past who decided to plant these trees at the entrance to the forestry village.  There is still a road through the trees but it no longer leads to a busy enterprise.  Our Government privatised our exotic forests in 1987.
