A new bird! I was a bit disappointed when I realised it was a jay, rather than a shrike, but it's the first time I have sern one in Jordan. It's good to see such a variety of birds here, in a large town. I've seen lots of hoopoes, or hudhuds, as they are calle in Arabic - easily identified from their unusual flight. Just putting some food and water attracts them to the house.
