Waiting for you on our corner of the street
And just like that they were gone.
I held it together all the way through breakfast, on the train, in the coffee shop, and it wasn't until we stood in front of the train that the flood tide broke.
How can it be that they have been here 16 Days - 18 in the country? How can they be going again.
Every time Boy has come in contact with people that he knows they have all been so delighted to see him - J told me that one of his mates, in his drunken state, told her that Boy was like the sun - and he attracted people to gravitate toward him. He radiated warmth and everyone wanted to be there.
When we were at Brig O Doon - we walked past a Wedding and boy said, "I know that guy playing piano". As we stood on the brig, the music stopped - and we turned to see a lad in a showbusie suit charging up the brig towards him - "Stevie...... " And there he was, the pianist. So delighted to see him and happy to break off his playing to run up and say hello.
And that is mostly how it is when Boy is here - people gravitate towards him, bathe in his nonsense and leave with a smile.
We have been blessed to have both him and J here for the time we had them here - I have never seen Boy so happy as he is when wrestling J or she is biting him. They make great travelling companions - Even if they do snooze from time to time (See Extra)
Don't worry about us - we recovered quickly.
We were round the corner from Doghouse at 11AM in the morning - so we toddled round and drowned our sorrows, ate Crack Chips and Brisket and then waddled home around 2.30 slightly tiddly but not crying any more.
Have fun you two. Can't wait for the next set of adventures.
