Dusty glasses: the end of the British Pub

So many local pubs are closing/have closed.
Crossing the street to photograph the museum opposite, these glasses abandoned in a closed pub seemed to embody this loss.
I know I'm part of the problem as I haven't drunk regularly in a pub for 40 years, but given the drinking culture amongst the young, and the marketing skills in UK management, pubs should be modifying their approach to attract this clientele.( oh! Wait UK marketing skills.......)
