A lovely day, despite the dentist in the morning. We popped into James’ and having already arranged to take Megan to lunch, we took Mollie as well as Amanda wasn’t well. The parade of shops that used to be my local now sports an American diner where the hardware shop used to be, and lunch with the girls was lovely.

Having dropped Megan back at work and Mollie home, we headed off to Ashford for Mr L’s optician appointment. He has a ‘condition’ which always means his prescription has changed so the new specs cost a fortune yet again!

Popped into Wilkos for one purchase and spent another small fortune! Home now and I need to read those darn stories again ready for Monday!
