Kingsday,

Today the color Orange is paramount in the Netherlands as it's Kingsday ; that's a Bankholiday. Orange (Van Oranje) is one of the family names of our royals, that's why we like to dress in Orange, at whatever national item.

Young and old take to the streets then, where free fleamarkets are allowed for all... and you can see trading is learned here from early age onwards.

The weather was far from yesterday's warmth&sunshine, so I suppose that's why the number of folks on Delft's streets was slightly less than other years.... this was already no.5 of Kingsday!
