Glorious blossom on our old tree

We thought today’s gusty winds would have spoilt the magnificent blossom on our grand old apple tree. By the end of the day despite petal blowing like confetti the tree still looked resplendent especially against the dark, threatening sky made so by the setting sun.

Otherwise, this was a usual summer Saturday with a walk into town in the morning followed by an afternoon trying to book RV sites in New England which is proving to be challenging.

Our oldest son reported the arrival of a new member of the family; a five year old dog called Winnie. Belonged to an old lady who has gone into care. Now in a new home. Hope it all works out for everyone.
