Beneath the Poplars

Because I went to the 11 a.m. service I had time before church to have a walk by the lake.  These poplars are still looking great.

I then went to church, the hymn for today is 'Christ the Lord is Risen Today,' and the flowers are the extra.  The second extra is 'Between the Trees'

I went to an 80th birthday lunch held at a local cafe.  It was great catching up with everyone, and learning about her life story.  The meal was delicious.

It is now raining, have the fire going, so time to put my feet up.

Looking forward to the walk tomorrow.
