After a "busy" day (i.e. one where I was doing things, but not sure what, and even less sure of what I achieved other than the weekly shop), I charged around the garden with the camera and f1.8 50mm lens while my dinner was cooking.

I have always loved the shallow DOF that a lens of this type can achieve, and the dreamy effect when used wide open and close up on flowers. I've not always been successful in achieving the look I've wanted - but this one is getting there, albeit the handheld shot on a breezy day means the shot is not a sharp as it could be at the focus point.
