Owl

A Short Eared Owl.

200 Blips and it's been a wonderful 200 days.

Walking through the farm I reached the paddock close to where the alpaca are and noticed a chicken in the field. Assuming it had wandered out of the farmyard I approached and then I saw those eyes! 
In 'Extra' you can see what I saw.
I stood still and fumbled for my telephoto and just had time to get this photo as it was taking off. 

I followed it to the next field and it landed again. I watched it a while and saw it go into a tree. I am hoping this is where its home is and if so it gives me the opportunity for more photos.
