Solstice Sunrise

This stopped me in my tracks on the way into work - it didn't last long by the time I arrived the rain had started and the cloud was down. So glad I stopped off for five minutes. The, now landscaped spoil heap on the left is all that remains of Woodshaw Colliery, one of the numerous coal mines that once thrived in this part of Lancashire.
