Papaver rupifragum

Poppy flowering in April? !  I had hoped it would flower at the same time as Fantin Latour.  The poppies flowered continuously last year (once they got going), so that should still happen.  I struggled to get them to germinate, but they seem happy where they are and self seeded.  Pursuing  the colours in the Sir John Lavery painting of Anna Pavlova.
