A long lunch
In the best French tradition, the Parish lunch was enjoyed at Maggie‘s house. Everybody brought a dish as is usual and we enjoyed a couple of hours of pleasant conversation. I had the best seat in the house as the window opposite me had a direct view over the snow capped Canigou mountain. On our return, we were straight out again to take up an invitation for tea and Welsh cakes with friends. The sun had real warmth in it and we sat out in the garden once again overlooking the mountain. Our social life will nosedive once we get back onto the fens!
