Bird's Eye Views of the Tyne Riviera

A set of shots of our day exploring the mouth of the Tyne. The sun shone and the sky was blue and everyone was having a wonderful time - sailing, strolling, shopping, cycling, walking the dog, exercising the kids ........ 

The main is Tynemouth Market, looking a bit like a Moroccan souk, and almost as busy. The lady in the extras is eating fish and chips, very quickly, and keeping an eye on that gull, which is keeping an eye on her. The other gull is looking hopefully at us, but we have nothing to offer.  And finally, the beach at Whitley Bay, fantastic for strolling but not so much swimming or sunbathing today - there's still a chill in the wind.
