Ballyroon Mountain
A lazyish morning followed by a misty walk down at the end. It was actually rather nice - a steady climb up Ballyroon mountain towards the grid point shrouded in mist. You climb higher and higher and the views are usually stupendous but today sheep loomed out of the mist and we could hear the sea below rather than see it. The old WW2 lookout post looks pretty forlorn too - it can never have been a glamorous posting. Luckily Bernie's Cupán Tae, a tiny café at the end of the world, was open and we availed before walking back along the road.
