Family

Up early, sore head from the night before and was lucky enough to spot this lovely encounter at around 7am.

I feel incredibly privileged every single time I witness fox behaviour, and particularly the interaction between the adults and their young.
Foxes are often misunderstood and vilified. I wish more people could see the other side, the secret world of foxes. The parents are so affectionate towards one another, and both vixen and dog are attentive to their offspring. I watched as these parents nuzzled and groomed each other, and one of their cubs came in for attention.
It doesn’t matter what species you are, family is family.
