To the beach

K had the day off work so we could celebrate my birthday (it’s on Sunday), and so I got to choose where we might go. I chose Tomales Bay for oysters at Hog Island Oyster Co 9see extra) followed by Stinson Beach if the weather held.
Lunch was delicious. The sun shone, we had beer, we had oysters. By the time we got to the beach the sun had vanished behind cloud. K and I long since worked out we are happy watching the ocean even if we are bundled up in coats and scarves.
We opened a bottle of bubbly and spent several hours watching the birds and the waves.
