Pink

It's been nice having a quiet weekend with nothing really planned or desperately needing to be done.

A couple of hours pottering on the allotment this morning, tackling some tenacious weeds in a very dry clay soil. I tend to start my plants at home because the soil is so heavy so I've got a couple of weeks before I start having to water in anger but we do need some rain badly.

After my riding lesson i did a bit of tidying up in the garden as well. This lovely pink tulip is one of the few remaining in flower.
