Maritime perambulation.
A ten mile walk from Aberlady in gloriously unexpected weather. Egrets, larks, specked wood butterflies, thrift, cowslips and blazing yellow gorse accentuated our walk.
There was evidence of large beachside wild fire near Gullane, through its scorched earth, ferns were already unfurling towards the sunshine.
A detour to the walled garden at Archerfield was interesting but not one we would repeat.
North Berwick was surprisingly quiet for a sunny Sunday. East Coast buses enabled our linear walk today .
