Colour rising

Not the best shot I’m afraid. This lovely acer was kindly given to me by friend and fellow blipper Jeanneb53 and her husband C when my husband died in 2016. It has been in a smallish pot, then a larger pot, and has now been transferred to a raised section of the garden. I had a panic the first winter when all the leaves suddenly dropped off all at the same time - I thought I had killed it (I’m not good with plants!). However, each spring the leaves have thankfully returned. I think it is looking quite happy in the latest location, and seems to be getting bigger and the colour more vibrant. Thank you J & C - it is a lovely colourful memorial.
