Grumpy Week

I developed some pain in my right ankle during a run last Thursday which subsequently disappeared.

It came back with a vengeance during yesterday’s hillwalking so much so that I had to cancel my trip to Sunderland this morning when I woke at 05:15 and could not put any weight on it.

Emergency doctor appointment to be told I have tendinitis and must rest completely for at least a week.

Aargh! My doctor must not know me too well. How can I have no sports or activities for a week?

I’ll do what she said but I’ll be grumpy this week. Maybe sneak a few weights sessions in. That can’t be too bad if I stay away from legs right?
