A little ray of sunshine

Rather mixed weather today ....... several rain showers ..... but the sun did put in the odd appearance too!

As we weren't sure whether there would be more showers .... we decided not to go far ..... so headed up the road to Pioneer & Beech Wood.

We had a lovely walk ....... it even stayed dry!

We saw Blue & Great Tits, Buzzard, Kestrel, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackbirds & a pair of Jays! Also saw a few butterflies!

The sun came out as I was taking a photo of this Hawthorn blossom .... made it look really pretty .... so this just had to be my blip :-)

Also spotted this Crow eating his 'Ratatouille' dinner (Extra) ..... it looks almost as big as he is!


Update: Mum is now back home in her flat ..... she's tired but doing okay .... thanks for all the support last week ..... greatly appreciated :-)
