Butterfly Survey - week 5

The weather just managed to get warm and sunny enough to do a butterfly survey this afternoon (there are quite stringent rules about when you can and can't do a butterfly survey). I saw 10 butterflies today; Brimstones, Orange Tips, Green-veined Whites and Speckled Woods.

Butterfly numbers are doing well so far this year.... 58 sightings this April compared with only 19 last year.
