C2C Day 1

We started well but by 15 miles one team member was struggling and we’d made an unfortunate error in navigation (lots of steep steps) that was a bit soul destroying.

BUT we all finished - 13 Scouts aged from 10 to 16 and 6 adults of which I’m youngest. Over 20 miles 11 long hours in some changeable weather from Mevagissey to Trelissick.

ETA we did lose 1 tent overnight in the strong winds. Fortunately I was not in the team that finished 3 hours ahead so it was all sorted by the time I got into camp!!
