Walk to St Blanes

Another gorgeous day.
Warm and very sunny.
We walked from Kilchattan Bay to The Kingarth/ Black Park standing stones.
This is one of the stones.
From here we walked along the minor road to St Blane's church (the site of the former monastery of St Catan) passing Dunagoil vitrified hill fort on the way.(see extras).
What a beautiful setting St Blanes occupies.
After spending some time in the church ruins we joined the route of the West Island Way which took us cross country and over Suidhe Hill to get back to Kilchattan.
