Easter Monday

Our morning started with the faint notes of another procession. Please see Ursonate17’s blip for a wonderful description of the performance we were treated to. For the first time I really wanted to post a video as an extra.

The rain never really got in the way and thankfully the funiculars were open today, so we went up to Vomero on the hilltops. It was like a totally different city - relatively quiet, orderly, prosperous, slow traffic. We had a good walk around and then descended again into the chaos of the higgelypiggely streets of the main city and were glad to be back.
