Off to Pick-up

Betsy has finished school but Al hadn't - so she walked him in this morning, and picked him up this afternoon.

I kept a long standing promise to Betsy by watching with her Deathly Hallows Parts One AND Two in one day.

It suited me fine as I still have a lot of knitting to do for her Christmas blanket so I got on with that. Watching Part One inspired me to make a square with Dobby on it. I don't see how I will finish it in time now. I can do a certain amount when Betsy is around but once all the squares are finished I can't see it together or back it when she's around. Oh well, perhaps I will give it to her without the backing and explain I'll do it another day.

Al was in high spirits when he got home. I'm so happy myself that term is over I can't imagine how they are feeling.

He made me laugh tonight, saying that his Head Teacher had said in assembly, 'now I am going to read some poetry', and all the children groaned really loudly! Poor man! Rude little horrors they are! It was funny though.
