Thank you so very much for your kindness yesterday, it was of enormous comfort.
For Harvey friends, an update:
I'm feeling a whole lot more positive than i was a couple of hours ago when i discovered another lump, this time under his ribcage. Just back from an upbeat consult with specialist vet. He is confident that surgery is worthwhile, given the mobility and slow growth of this connective tissue sarcoma. He would remove the second much smaller lump at the same time - he seems reasonably sure they are not related. I had gone in pretty much convinced that i would not be putting Harvey through any more surgery ... but this guy seems intelligently optimistic. What to do. It's not an easy op to close due to the location and skin tightness ... he would operate in the 2nd week of Jan.
