Clearing up

I have never been a fan of coleus, but I thought this one outside the market was beautiful in color and shape, so I gave it pride of place.  The yellow dahlia in the Extra also caught my eye.

Making the stew took me all yesterday evening and cooking it in the crock pot all night.  Then I discovered that it was woefully under-seasoned - I think from now on I will have to follow an actual recipe.  So today was devoted to cleaning up from yesterday, and the meat loaves will have to wait until tomorrow.  There's just so much kitchen clean-up I can manage at one time, and it's hard to motivate myself to do it two days in a row.
