Danger Ice

We headed into the Rocky Mountain National Park and the snow began to fall. What a wonderland. Hardly another car but we saw elk, musk deer, wild turkeys, eagles and some shy but very handsome coyotes. The snow tumbled and L and I wondered if we would make it back down the hill and to the airport in time. Of course we did. But just in time. A huge snowstorm is now sweeping the mountains and plains with winds over 100k/h and the snow is drifting into car-smothering banks.
