A GIFT

This tulip was given, by my daughter, for my birthday along with another tulip, two roses, blue gum leaves and statice (I can't recall it's proper name).  Such a beautiful, simple and that's all that's needed sort of bouquet - and it arrived eleven days ago.  The tulips never opened and today it was looking rather wrinkled yet beautiful.  It had to make the pages of blip.
I thought those wrinkly petals still looked like silk and the stamens looked alive surely not.

Apparently Sophia travelled well to London.  She is going to be a well travelled girl, I feel.
