Tiny Tuesday: Peekaboo

I've been working at home this morning as I had to go for some physio on my elbow first thing.  As it is reasonably sunny I thought I would eat my lunch on the patio.  Just as I was about to sit down I spotted this red damselfly and thought "Tiny Tuesday!"

Racing off, I grabbed the camera, installed the flash, dialled in the correct settings and went back to stalk my prey.  I got a cracker of a shot of the wee beastie sitting on some of the white Snow in Summer before I realised that I had forgotten to put the memory card back in the camera after last night's Mono Monday shenanigans.  Fortunately the damselfly hung around long enough for one further attempt before deciding that there must be quieter local ponds less plagued by blippers....

I then managed to grab a shot of a plumpie on its way to a spot of its own lunch, which I've uploaded as an extra.  On balance I think that one is actually a better shot than the damselfly but as I've already blipped one plumpie so far, I thought that we should have the camera shy damselfly instead.
