Tank

This is one reason that I hate gardening or, more specifically, digging, mowing, strimming and trimming. 
Land is an abundant ecosystem and as a passionate animal lover, (the first person to call me a snowflake will make me overlook my pacifism!) it horrifies me when I think about all the 'collateral damage' that occurs whenever we try to tame nature, sanitise it or make it more aesthetic.
I'd hate to be my neighbours, especially as their gite and their side of the fence IS very pretty. There will come a time when I will have to invest in a sit-on-top to replace the 'toys' that I'm using at present. I fear that this will 'detach' me from the carnage being wrought beneath me and I will fail in my mission to preserve life wherever possible. 
In the end, we all know that nature wins. If I make some small effort to respect her and her subjects now, I hope that she'll be kinder to me when I'm part of it.
