So far today I've been gardening in the sun and the warm while Hazel chases bees.  These little beauties live up at the end by the shed.  They are of course wildflowers and shouldn't be there, but I love them so they're allowed special status and come back year on year. 

This afternoon we have to take Hazel back to the vet - no. not because she got her mouth stung, but because her ears are still so aggravatingly itchy that she shakes her head all the time and scratches them until it hurts and she yelps.  The rest of her skin is pretty good and she's on nothing but anallergenic dog food right now.  Can this really be a food allergy?  Hmm, we'll see.
