Usually the leaking-from-the-beak section of a respiratory tract infection is my least favourite part of the experience, but when I thought the purported site of unpleasantness was shifting upwards from my pharynx into the snot-channels I was almost relieved, until it turned out that it was merely an exploratory venture by a subcolony whilst the main population remained irritatingly irritating the exact bits of throat and palate that need to interact with each other when swallowing. As long as I don't try to swallow I almost feel not-ill but it can only be put off for so long.
