Home is where the heart is

I think I've always misunderstood this phrase. I thought it meant that your heart will always be where home is. But it's the other way around. Home is wherever your heart is.

So instead of asking where home will be, I should be asking where my heart is.

My friend Johann is heading back home to Florida on Sunday, and I was glad to be able to see him today to say goodbye; but I pray it is goodbye only for a while.
