Stourhead

We enjoyed a beautiful drive from Mum & Dad’s over the Cranborne Chase to the wonderful gardens at Stourhead :-)

Unfortunately Milly wasn’t allowed in the gardens until 4pm (??!) so we enjoyed a delicious pub lunch and then walked around some of the estate.
Mr W volunteered to wait with her until the appropriate time and we arranged to walk around the lake in opposite directions to meet up with him.

Well the best laid plans ........

Obvs we didn’t meet and by this time it was raining quite hard - we’ve visited 3 times and every time it rains :-(
Mum & Dad assure us the gardens are beautiful in the sunshine ;)

Home to dry off and then out for dinner altogether - lovely :-D
