Nesssaintee's World

Nigg Dry Dock

Only two or three hours sleep and I'm here on the sea wall of this dry dock.
It's massive and takes a week to fill.
This picture doesn't really give a sense of the size, unless you have been up close and personal with one of these semi submersible drilling rigs, or horses of the sea as the Brahan Seer is reputed to have described them as.
It is winter solstice and also the end of the Mayan calendar (not the end of the world)
A new beginning perhaps.
I hope for peace and happiness for all
I always do.
It's been a cold, wet and windy day here, nice to feel the sea again though
I am very tired and not fully appreciative of that as I would normally be
Hope you've all had a fantastic Friday
