Heavy reading.
Actually it isn't, it is a very easy read! Real history books should be this interesting! The only reason it's heavy is that it is a huge hardback with over 700 pages! It may well throw me off schedule with my 52 books for the year, but I can read some shorter ones to catch up. And some of the 700 pages do have pictures on!
I've not watched the Game of Thrones TV series - I would if I had the time. I have read all the books though. The TV series has overtaken the books, and I think the author seems to be daunted at the prospect of finishing the massive epic he has started. He's written other books, such as this one and a couple of "spin off" short stories, and other work not connected to the Song of Ice and Fire series at all, but can't seem to crack this one. The next book in the series is said to be more or less done, but that has been the case for a long while, yet still no release date!
I was going to read my book now, until it's time to go to work, but I just realised I haven't done my comments on here yet!
Earlier I decided to sort out a couple of kitchen cupboards whilst waiting for my lunch to cook. Whilst in the process of that I knocked Jae's chocolate milk powder all over the floor and split the box it was in. That took forever to clean up, but you can't see it happened now! Other than the lack of chocolate powder in the cupboard of course! Jae won't be happy!
