May Day

Mum had a hospital appointment in Histon and it also happens to be my Great Aunt’s birthday so we set off early to pay her a visit In the nursing home before going over to The Spire. Aunty May has reached the grand old age of 105 and is as funny and feisty as ever. She’s quite deaf now and uses a frame for walking but she’s amazing for her age (despite telling us the same story at least 3 times about coming out of her bathroom to find a man in her room).

Mum had a pre- assessment for her knee op next week and , thankfully has her blood pressure under control now so fingers crossed, it should happen this time!
We did a bit of a dash round Tesco and had a sandwich in Costa. A very successful trip!
