I travelled back from Manchester today. All the available evidence suggests that Manchester and Kent are no closer together - it took the best end of six hours including a couple of short stops to stretch my legs. Travelling such immense distances means that I'm jet-lagged now so I'll probably veg out on the sofa with a cup of tea.
