Simple

Much of the day was spent waiting while a local garage certified my car for another year.  It is always potentially a traumatic experience given the size of the bill which can be the outcome of such an experience.  In the end, it was OK.  I should have taken a good book to read though.
Looks like a few days gardening coming up - and the lily of the valley is nodding its approval.
