Today I met up with my SIL and we walked 8 miles of the Wandle River Trail. It was a beautiful day and very peaceful walking beside the river but we were glad to teach the cafe for lunch 4 hours later. Although we both ached a bit the best news was my knee was fine! phew

clocked up 24,400 steps.

In the evening The Rev went for his surprise I had been planning for a while ....guitar lessons from the partner of the teacher I used to work with (who left with me!) although I am old enough to be her Mum we get on so well and it was great to catch up with her over a cuppa.
