What to do on a wet afternoon? Curled up with the choice of the book or the film, I opted for the film. Who couldn't resist Omar Sharif's eyes....

But I didn't get to relax for too long......

A neighbour's cat decided to attack a pigeon in the garden and I was left to deal with the aftermath. I didn't blame the cat, as that's what they do. But it meant a trip to the local wildlife centre, with the unfortunate bird being put to sleep, as its wing was too badly damaged.
