Mira Ferry

Left after two, but amazed we got as much done as we did, so it was worth it, hurray for visitors who force us to clear up. Though, unfortunately, not much success with the caravan 12V system, we'll need a new battery charger. Thankfully, they won't need heating, it's been hot.

Driving across the Alentejo in May should be added to your bucket list; impossible to appreciate it properly. So tired when we got to Milfontes that we both went straight to sleep in our room, even though desperate to get to the river, the Mira, which flows into the Atlantic here.

Made it just as the sun was going down. My Blip is the small ferry that saved us a lot of steps when we walked up this coast four years ago, you can see the jetties on both sides of the river.
