Chinese hydrangea

Gym class this morning... inhaled some food for lunch and then headed out to the arboretum. NannaK reminded me that it's a good time to go, and it was another fabulous day. Feels like we won the weather lottery this week.

These beautiful hydrangea are blooming in the section where they have lots of plants that are indigenous to China. Our regular hydrangeas won't bloom for a few more months. The plant with the tiny flowers (extra) was in the shade, near a little stream and a bunch of ferns. It looks like some kind of wild garlic or onion since the flower head is at the top of a long, slender stalk, with no leaves.

Anyway, I got in my steps today, that's for sure. We have some halibut left over so we are going to indulge one more time in the fabulous stuff.
