Jesus Birthday Cake

I like to make this cake a few days before Christmas. It is called "Queen Elizabeth Cake" and the lady that gave me the recipe said she had heard it was from the Royal Palace in England. I have made this for several years and it is so good. It has lots of chopped dates and walnuts. It would be fun to hear it is actually from the Royal Palace in England.
